Delete your Plantly account
Plantly — Google PlayHow to request account deletion
If you use Plantly on Google Play and want your account and personal data removed from our servers, follow the steps below. We will verify your identity before processing the request.
- Sign in to the email linked to your Plantly account Use the same email address you used to register (email/password) or the Google account you used for Google Sign-In.
- Send a deletion request Email us at privacy@plant-ly.com with the subject line Plantly account deletion request. Include your registered email address and, if helpful, your display name shown in the app.
- Confirm your request We may reply to verify that you own the account. Reply to our email to confirm you want permanent deletion.
- Receive confirmation After processing, we will email you when your account and associated data have been deleted or anonymized.
What happens on your device
Before or after your request, you may also:
- Sign out in the Plantly app (Profile) — this clears local session tokens and cached account data on your device.
- Uninstall the app — this removes local app data from your phone or tablet.
Data that will be deleted
When your deletion request is approved and processed, we delete or permanently anonymize the following data linked to your account:

| Subscription | Plan tier (Free, Premium, Pro) and usage quota records tied to your account |
| Plants & care | Plant names, species, locations, notes, care schedules, care events, task history, reminder settings |
| Photos & media | Plant photos and images uploaded to our cloud storage (e.g. Cloudflare R2 or Cloudinary) |
| AI features | AI chat messages, generated insights, health evaluations, and saved plant facts linked to your account |
| Notifications | FCM push tokens, notification preferences, in-app notification history, and server-side reminder records |
| Authentication | Access and refresh tokens and Firebase authentication records associated with your Plantly account |
Data that may be kept
Some information may be retained after account deletion, as described below:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not retain your data for advertising purposes after deletion.
Processing time
- We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days.
- Account and associated personal data are typically deleted within 30 days after identity verification.
- Backup purges may take up to an additional 30 days, as noted above.
